Facing technical issues with your Macard N300 WiFi Extender? Resetting and reconfiguring it might solve the problem. Below is a step-by-step guide to help you perform a factory reset and set up the extender again.

Resetting the Macard N300 Extender

Your Macard extender features three primary buttons: Power, WPS, and Reset. The Reset button is a small pinhole, usually requiring a pointed object such as a paperclip or pin to access.

To reset your extender:

    1. Locate the RESET button on the device.

    2. Insert a pointed object into the Reset hole and press.

    3. Hold the button down for approximately 10 seconds, then release.

    4. Wait for the device to reboot automatically.

    5. This process will erase all previously saved settings and return the extender to its original factory configuration.

Setting Up the Macard N300 Again

After the reset, you'll need to reconfigure the extender. Make sure you have the following before starting:

    • A computer or laptop

    • The extender’s default SSID and admin credentials

    • IP address or login URL: go.macard.online or 192.168.10.1

    • A powered-on host router within close range

There are two ways to configure your Macard N300: WPS Setup and Manual Setup.

Method 1: WPS Setup

    1. Plug the extender into a wall outlet near your main WiFi router.

    2. Press the WPS button on the extender. The WPS/WiFi LED will start blinking.

    3. Within 2 minutes, press the WPS button on your router.

    4. When the extender’s WPS/WiFi LED shows a solid green light, the connection is complete.

You can now connect to the extended network using the same credentials as your main router.

Method 2: Manual Setup

  1.  Plug in the extender within range of your router and power it on.

  2. Connect your computer to the extender’s default SSID (printed on the back of the device).

  3. Open a web browser and enter go.macard.online or 192.168.10.1 in the address bar.

  4. Once the login screen appears, enter the default admin password: admin.

  5. Choose your preferred language and scan for nearby WiFi networks.

  6. Select your main WiFi network and enter its password to link the extender.

  7. Create a name and password for your new extended network.

  8. Save the settings and wait for the extender to reboot.

  9. Once restarted, your extended network will be ready to use.
